Who Is Frew Street Capital?
Frew Street Capital Management LLC ("Frew Street Capital" or "FSCM") is led by its founder, Nick Rich, whose diverse background in professional investing, corporate finance, and business strategy serves as the foundation for your investment services.
Professional Background
After receiving his MBA, Nick went to work as part of a private debt and equity team, whose primary investor was the largest public employees' retirement fund in the U.S. His work experience before and after graduation built a foundation in investment research and due diligence. It also fortified his understanding of what it means to be a patient, long-term investor on behalf of a group of hard-working people whose financial futures you help to serve.
To round out his experience, Nick had the opportunity to work for two companies in which the private fund had invested. In his role as a corporate manager and finance executive, he was able to observe and influence how well-run companies make decisions about how to invest and grow their resources, whether financial, intellectual, or physical. This confluence of experience also deepened his understanding of risk management and managerial responsibility in the context of running a portfolio and a business. Passionate about this interplay between financial analysis, risk assessment, and ownership responsibility, Nick decided to transition from CFO to personal investment management. He is an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA) who enjoys treating every new or established portfolio as a distinctive project, refined over time to fit with a client’s unique and evolving needs and risk tolerance.

On a Personal Note
After handling his family's investments, piecing together and managing a balanced investment portfolio to meet their diverse goals, Nick made a personal commitment to make this service available to more individuals and families without being cost-prohibitive. Doing so gives him the same feeling of purpose that he felt while working for teams that directly or indirectly served teachers' and public employees' retirement funds.
Nick, and his wife, Cara, are parents to three young sons. They love devoting their weekends to watching their kids play baseball and football all over California and beyond.
